Cornell Notes

Cornell Notes is a successful note taking system developed in the 1950's at Cornell University. You can use Cornell notes during a lecture, reading a textbook, watch a video podcast, and during other similar activities.

At the bottom of this page is a folder that contains resources for learning how to take Cornell notes. In addition I am providing a link to a short YouTube video that does a pretty good job explaining how to take Cornell notes - my only hesitation with the video is I prefer to use the left column more for developing questions, not just key terms. The other resources I have provided on this page also favor using the left column for developing questions.
